Only Full, Enhanced and Premier individual subscribers, and Family and Business accounts get free technical support for using FastMail. This includes help with using the web interface, use of subdomains, filters/rules, and other FastMail features.
Personal technical support for email software such as Outlook Express is not provided--you will need to contact your software vendor for help in this area.
All users can report bugs, request features, and get help with billing or upgrade issues.
To request support, use the Support link on the FastMail main page. If you require technical support but are not a Full, Enhanced or Premier member, please login to your account and click "Billing & Plan" and upgrade your account first.
Before you contact us directly, please check the rich sources of information available thoughout the site to ensure that your question has not already been answered, or your idea already considered.
Also, be sure to use the forum for general questions, ideas, or comments. If you've done both of these things, then contact us through the support system, keeping in mind the following important information:
Provide a meaningful subject line in your request. 'Help' doesn't tell us what your message is about. To ensure a prompt response please provide a useful subject line.
If you are emailing about a problem, copy and paste the exact text of any relevant error messages, and specify the exact set of steps that, if followed, will replicate the problem. (That is, explain exactly what steps you took, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened.)
For troubleshooting, always specify your operating system and version. Windows users click Start->Run, then type 'winver' and click 'OK'. Linux users type 'cat /proc/version' For troubleshooting issues with the web interface, provide the name and version of your browser (choose 'About' from the browser's 'Help' menu).
For problems accessing FastMail, provide the output of the commands just described. If you don not follow these steps, we will not be able to assist you properly. If you have not made an effort to follow these steps, we may simply provide a link to this information so that you can re-submit your request in a more appropriate form.
Use the "Support" link on the main login page to submit your request.
