Special offer for Member level subscribers: Member level users can trade in their existing accounts for a $14.95 credit after upgrading to Full or Enhanced accounts.
You need not pay anything extra! All these features come at no extra cost!!
We should be implementing these in September.
Yes, the changes are applicable to existing users as well as new users!
Member account holders will get a $14.95 credit added to their balance after upgrading to Full or Enhanced accounts. The special offer applies to all Member level users, no matter how long you've been with us, and how much you originally paid! After you use this offer and upgrade to Full/Enhanced, your fallback-level will be set to Guest, which means that if you don't renew your Full/Enhanced accounts on their expiry, your account will be converted to a Guest account rather than a Member account.
Yes, any extra storage/bandwidth you had already purchased will be added to your quota. For example, if you were at the Enhanced level, and had already purchased 500MB of storage space, your new quota will be 2000MB + 500MB = 2.5GB
You have to wait until the changes are in effect.
Mail storage quota is the amount of storage space(in megabytes) for email.
Monthly bandwidth is the amount of email traffic(measured in megabytes) allowed for an account in a month. A one megabyte message to one recipient results in two megabytes of traffic, since it is received from your PC (1MB) and sent to the recipient (1MB). Sending a one megabyte message to nine people creates ten megabytes of traffic, using the same logic.
Hourly bandwidth is the maximum amount of email(in megabytes) that can be transferred for an account in an hour.
Number of message items permitted through an account in one hour. A "message item" is one message sent to one recipient.
This is a free one time bandwidth allocation for the Full/Enhanced accounts. You can draw from this freely when you go over your monthly bandwidth quota - this is useful when you need a bit of extra bandwidth for archiving, migrating mail, etc. Its just like extra bandwidth you buy. Your extra bandwidth is used up only when you go over your regular monthly quota.
Maximum amount of storage available in your file space.
You can login to your account, go to 'Options' -> 'Account Status' to check your service level and fall-back service level.
No unfortunately. The offer is only for upgrading to a new Full or Enhanced subscription.
They can restore the Member status anytime by paying the regular $14.95
You have to make sure that your account is not over quota, or your account will stop accepting new mails immediately when you are over quota.
Not at the moment, unfortunately. However, we are looking into increasing this soon.
